Baker meets Hailey

Sire: GMPR Spioncop Christos Magic Baker SH

Baker meets Hailey, all yellow litter born April 8th, 2010! This breeding is expected to produce wonderful hunting companions with excellent temperaments. Baker is a GMPR and a SH and comes to us via Holzinger Kennels in Prior Lake, MN. Holzinger Kennels is renowned throughout the Upper Midwest for producing some of the nations best retrievers. Their reputation speaks for itself producing such dogs as GMPR MHR Rik's Risky Raider, MH MPR Wyvernaze Audley MH (Brock), GMPR Cashzingers Cattail Corky, MPR Brock's Golden Nugget, CP Cashzingers Coal Cut Loose, Cashzinger's Special Brew MH, MH MPR Cashzinger's Brier Tuck MH (Tucker), MHR MPR Horse and Hunt Gabe MH. Baker was whelped and trained by Terry Holzinger, professional trainer since 1982. Baker's father was imported from England as a British stud dog. Baker's mother is a full sister to Risky Business who's also Raider's father! The accomplishments of this pedigree are too numerous to list having many GMPR, MH and MHR. Baker is 68 pounds of complete power. Even at age 9, he doesn't look a day over 3 with the same build as you see in the pictures above. Baker achieved his AKC Senior title in 2006 going 5 for 5. From there he attained is CP and MP from APLA in the same weekend. He achieved his GMPR and currently has four qualifications toward his Master title. He's expected to achieve his Master title by summer's end. Baker extensively hunts waterfowl and upland game. He lives to hunt and will go strong all day long! Dam: CPR Double Shot and a Miss Hailey JH

Hailey is 57 pounds of athletic prow less. She is pure muscle and it shows out in the field! She has a never quit mentality and routinely hunts strong all day long on multiple day hunting trips! Her marking and retrieving ability is second to none. Hailey quarters very well and covers a lot of ground in a hurry. She was first introduced to birds at a young age and since hunted weekly during the hunting season, mainly pheasant, and has developed into a fine retriever. She gives me the best of both worlds being a solid pointer when the birds hold tight, yet is not afraid to flush a bird on the move. Hailey is extremely intelligent and I pride myself in knowing that she has been trained personally by myself. From the day she came home with me she has lived to please and retrieve. Whether it be bird, bumper/dummy, tennis ball, or anything she can get her mouth around, she has never given up on a retrieve even at a very young age. People are amazed at the speed and tenacity she shows in the field, yet have such a calm temperament around the house. She knows that when its time to come in the house its time to settle down. She sleeps at the foot of my bed every night, and is at my side with a cold nose every morning. She is truly the perfect dog giving me everything I ask for in the field and knowing when to tone it down around children and in the house! Hailey lives to hunt, loves to please, and is what I consider a best friend!
